Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute SEO strategy for the company website and client websites to achieve maximum ROI
• Delegate and coordinate SEO-related tasks with SEO Executives based in India through Basecamp and Skype
• Work with the Head of Client Services to create and promote SEO packages
• Create and pitch SEO proposals to existing and new eCommerce clients
• Oversee and execute all aspects of SEO including audits, proposals, strategy, implementation, and performance monitoring
• Prepare and present monthly campaign reports to key client contacts
• Manage SEO campaign budgets, estimate monthly costs, and reconcile expenses
• Support and guide the Account Management team on SEO best practices for client portfolios
• Support and guide the Development team on SEO best practices, modules, and extensions for existing and new eCommerce websites
• Set measurable goals to demonstrate improvements in marketing performance

Essential Skills:

• Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Experience using Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, and SEMRush
• Functional understanding of HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of back-end SEO elements including .htaccess, robots.txt, and metadata across various CMS platforms
• Proven success with link-building and viral marketing strategies
• Ability to implement effective local and long-tail SEO strategies
• Strong understanding of mobile SEO strategy
• Experience increasing inbound organic traffic and improving search engine rankings
• Experience creating analytics reports and website evaluation reports
• Up-to-date knowledge of current, past, and emerging SEO trends and best practices
• Familiarity with industry-leading SEO tools
• Experience with eCommerce SEO platforms such as Magento, Prestashop, and Laravel
• Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) experience is beneficial but not essential
